Are you a hand and upper limb therapist with some experience under your belt and ready for the next stage of your career?
-
Are you currently in a leadership role or wanting to emerge into this space but need the right opportunity? We see you!
At Health Nest, we know that great leadership doesn’t happen by accident—it happens with the right support, the right environment, and the time to do it properly.
We’re looking for a Leading Therapist to join our Launceston-based clinic, someone who wants to balance clinical work with leadership—mentoring others, creating impact, and shaping the future of our practice.
This is not just another clinical role. It’s a chance to step up, lead, and grow your career while still keeping a hand in the work you love.
What Makes This Role Different?
✅ We pay good money. Your skills, experience, and leadership are valuable—so we make sure you’re rewarded for them (and we won’t hassle you about your ‘billable hours’)
✅ We leave on time. Work-life balance is real here, not just a cool word.
✅ Step Into Leadership – You’ll have dedicated time for leadership responsibilities, without carrying a full clinical caseload.
✅ Mentoring for You – We’ll support your leadership growth with mentoring and professional development, helping you build confidence in your leadership role.
✅ A Ready-Made Dream Team – You’ll walk into a beautiful, supportive team of therapists and client coordinators who are ready to welcome you.
✅ Fun & Creative Growth Projects – Bring your ideas to life as we innovate and expand our services.
✅ Employer of Choice Award – We’ve been officially recognised for creating a great workplace where people love to be.
Who We’re Looking For:
🌱 An experienced occupational therapist in hand and upper limb therapy, ready to step up in leadership.
🫶 A nurturer who enjoys helping others grow and seeing them succeed.
🎯 A driven individual who thrives on a supported challenge—someone who still enjoys treating patients but is excited to contribute at a higher level.
💡 A strategic, creative thinker—someone who loves solving problems, refining systems, and driving innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
🔹 Leading & mentoring and assisting with creating a supportive, growth-focused culture.
🔹 Treating a caseload of clients, but with the time and flexibility to focus on leadership tasks.
🔹 Shaping the clinic’s growth, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to our services.
🔹 Helping refine systems & processes, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
🔹 Receiving mentoring and leadership development—so you feel supported as you step into this role.
The Caseload & Clients? You’ll Love It.
💙 A fantastic mix of work—all the good things you’d want in a caseload.
💙 Clients who are genuinely great people—motivated, engaged, and appreciative of expert care.
We Know Moving Can Feel Hard. We’re Here to Help.
We get it—making a move, leaving behind what’s familiar, and stepping into something new is exciting but full of ‘what ifs’.
Here’s what you should know:
🏡 We offer relocation assistance—so you’re not figuring it out alone.
💬 Our team understands what it’s like to move—many of us have done it, and we’ll help make the transition easier.
🌿 Tasmania is an incredible place to live and work—stunning scenery, a thriving health community, and a perfect balance of career and lifestyle.
This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to create the career and life you’ve been looking for.
